Your first guided tour will be to Kathmandu Durbar square. Many of Kathmandu’s stunning temples and palaces were built during the Newar King Malla dynasty from the 13th to 18th centuries. It is the place, where the kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronation solemnized. There are many shrines and fascinating wood carving windows, stone carving temples scattered around this area. Temple of Kumari House is one of the most holiest and beautiful places of the square. Kumari is a young girl child, who is considered the living goddess. The Kathmandu Durbar Square is enlisted in World Heritage site in 1979.
The guide will then take you to Swayambhunath, perched on a conical hilltop just west of Kathmandu. This revered Buddhist temple offers great views of the city. It is said to be 2,000 years old. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979. A large image of Buddha is in a monastery next to the Stupa.

In the morning after your breakfast, visit Pashupatinath along the banks of the Bagmati River. It is Nepal’s holiest Hindu site, attracting pilgrims and sadhus (Hindu holy men) from across the country. Non-Hindus are not allowed into the main temple, but visitors can view the whole area from across the sacred river.
Then you head to Patan Durbar Square. Patan is also known as ‘Lalitpur’ literally, the City of Artisans, and is the home to the valley’s finest craftsmen. Most finest monuments and shrines around the city are Hiranya Varna Mahabihar, the three storied golden pagoda and Krishna Temple. The Krishna temple is built in the Shikhara style or entirely built in Stone and full of little stone carving of Hindu religious epic Ramayana. In the evening, visit to Boudhanath Stupa. It is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and the largest stupa in the South Asia, looming 36m overhead. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list in 1979.

Bhaktapur, the City of Devotees” is situated 14km east of Kathmandu. This ancient city is actually the most popular city among all and legendary living museums from medieval time. Located about 14 km east of Kathmandu, it is one of the 3 royal cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Bhaktapur is filled with monuments, most terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples with elaborate carvings, gilded roofs, and open courtyards. Bhaktapur and Durbar Square were added to the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1979.
In the late afternoon, drive further to Dhulikhel, a small Newar community town 30 Km from Kathmandu. You have a very nice view of lush valley and Himalayas. Beauty of hills, paddy field and Himalayas are simply magnificent. You will be taken to your splendid resort hotel, from where you can have a majestic panoramic view of Himalaya.

Early morning, drive by a Bus to Chitwan which takes about 5/6 hours to reach there. On the way, you can have a stunning view of Himalayas, scenic mountain villages and green lush valleys. Upon arrival to Chitwan, we drive about 20 minutes by a Jeep to our Jungle Lodge.
Guests are taken to beautiful resorts followed by refreshment and a briefing about the lodge facilities and tour program. Then after lunch, there will be slideshow presentation by a professional on the mammals, reptiles, birds, local people, village environment, flora and fauna, and natural history of the park. Later in the evening, you are taken off to a walk through villages to uncover the living style of local people.

After breakfast, drive about 3/4 hours to the ancient trading town, Bandipur from Pokhara. Bandipur is once a town dominated by the Newari community. Newari architecture can be perceived in the houses and temples in town.
Walk up the hill that towers over the town and enjoy an unrestricted view of Himalayan peaks Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna, Lamjung, Ganesh and Langtang. You can have excellent short hikes around Bandipur and also catch a spectacular sunset with your camera from the top. We will stopover in a simple guest house.
